The Life and Times of Me

I have just had a really good weekend (apart from Everton loosing). Hugh came all the way over from Sweden (via Germany) to see me (the rummors must be flying about already...). It was really cool to catch up. We wondered around Dundee (in the rain) and went over to Stirling to see Eric (a very nice meal in pizza express).

Next week is reading week... I have two exams, one on the 9th and one on the 10th.

I did much worse than Mad on the Condom Quiz, I only got 3/10.

Have you heard what the Wessexs have called their daughter? Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor. Now I am very glad that my mum and dad aren't royals, I had enough trouble learing to spell the three names I have, but six would have been redikulus!!!!

I have had a good weekend. I finished most of my essay (Image processing: why, what and How?) on friday night (I forgot about the bibliography though). I got up early on Saturday morning (6 am) and got a train over to Glasgow, where I was met by Stephen. We then drove over to Loch Lomand and climbed a hill. Dispite the weather everything looked very pretty and the views were great. Maybe we can do Ben Lomand next time?! Entertianment for the evening was a film (with lots of swearing but no voilence) and pass the pig plus a home made chinese and "some" wine.

Sunday morning I got a train over to Lenzie and saw the Haselers. I am glad that Eleanor is continuing her hatred of me from SAGGA camp... Micheal enjoyed playing the "pass Eleanor to Amy game and see if she cries". I had a nice and relaxed time and Morag cooked the most loveliest meal I've had for a while.

Yesterday I had another driving lesson, my 3 point turn went a bit wrong, but my reversing around a corner and reverse parking was good. My horse riding lesson on the other hand was a different matter. I was learning to canter... I only did it twice but both times I was close to loosing my seat. The first few times are the worsest so I should be getting better each time after. I was back on Morgan who is a nice horse and is easy to get to do what you want to do.

Today I am waiting to get my essay back from my proof reader. And I am going to the Whetherspoons to get things for the cricket nightout orgainised.

Alright people! Last night I went to see a very funny film. The hype was well and truley worth it. Love Actually is great! The story lines are great and intertwine with each other in really amussing ways.

I am suffering from essay avoidance techniques. I was supposed to get it to my proof reader to day, but that so isnt going to happen...

My week:
Monday: Driving lesson, horse riding lesson.
Tuesday: Lecture, Cricket club commitee meeting, choir (plus failing audition for solo part), pub.
Wednesday: lecture, photocopying, careers interview (to help me produce a CV), study skills, TV night.
Thursday: lecture, more photocopying, visit to the cimema to see triplets de bellivedere (which was very weird, but funny), trip to tesco to get rid of recycling (a box of paper, a box of glass and 2 bags of plastic bags).
Friday: two lectures, a 6 hour journey back to the pool, a night in.
Saturday: Attempt to open a bank account (I don't need any money but 3 different types of ID were required...), buying Malcolm some trousers in his absence, bying some books and other bits, mending trousers, went out to an Egyptian restruant with me brother and his mates, played pool.

If only next week can be this exciting................

Last night I visited el cino to watch Jeremy Hardy vs the Isreali Army. It was great but it made me think... Tony Blair seems to be all up on saving oppressed people yet he hasn't lifted a finger about Palestine (by the way the Gaza strip is the most densly populated part of the world). Isreal get up on their high horse about terrorist yet they seem to forget that this state of theirs was only created because terrorist activity by the Zionist which forced the British out. Everyday in the occuplied teriories the Isreali army is breaking the Geneva convention. When this happened in the Balkins we sent in troups, why not do it now? We are most certainly living in a world were "everyone one is equal although some are more equall than others." George Bush is turning our so called "socailist" leader into even more of a right winger than he was already. I am soooooo not impressed

Oh and back to the film, if you like Micheal Moore then you'll like Jeremy Hardy's film.

Hello world. I can drive, I can also speed and I can also forget to change gear... I watched a French film last night "he loves me, he loves me not" it was very dark, it had the star of Amelie Audrey Tautou in it and the part she was playing was very different.
