Babies babies everywhere. Two within a week of each other. One more into the D'Costa Clan and one more into the Wright Clan. Congratulations everyone.

Work.... I have nearly nothing to do. I can get any further with my SEA stuff until me boss has written his issues and options report (its all to do with the 2004 planning and compulsary purchase act...). So I am scoping more relevent documents and trying not to fall asleep at the same time, helping with the migration of the counties website (I'll let you know the pages I am responsible for when it is live), general it dogs body, organising the christmas lunch. I have done very little proper SEA stuff for a while now.

Tonight with guides we went bowling. I got 84 I think, not really my best score but I wasn't taking it too seriously. "Kipper" and I did some more chatting about where to take the unit. Only problem is we can't upset Dormouse and Captain too much as we are relying on them with their warrent cards until we get our own. We have started planning our partols and some possible activities for next term. Next week we are planning for the coffee morning (on the 19th) and are looking for money making suggestions! I think the guides are doing crafty things next week in preparation but I am not sure what. Off to my first church parade since.... goodness knows when on Sunday. Im looking forward to it, a good chance to sing.

Anna's (my landlady) Dad is staying at the moment, Anna is sleeping on the living room floor. I am not sure how long he is about for but Anna hasn't spent alot of time with hime since she was 12. Anna never fixed the fuse. A lovely young man who shall be known as Mr H sent me some fuse wire and I did it meself. I think that Anna is hoping her dad will do jobs about the house for her.

Andy Lad (of Safe as F**K fame) sent this to me:
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.

Yes, there certainly seems to be a few baby tails floating around the SAGGA blogs at this moment.

I think that the passage at the bottom of your post is quite amusing to read after approximately five attempts!

Hope you are well

One of the first jobs I'm having done on my new house is to have the 20 year old fuse box taken out and replaced with a modern consumer unit with circuit breakers.
