A day in the life
I thought I was going out tonight, but I am not because of stupid men.

Have been randomly surfing and I found this, I always set confused by achrimans, and this has some ammusing ones (and there definitions). FUBAR for example.

Here is some advertising... My friend Jules does a radio show every Thursday 5-6pm on an award winning student radio station. You can find it here. I listend for the first time today, I was impressed with him. The music was a good change from the momotemy that Radio 1 is these days.

I had a driving lesson this morning. The first one for 5 months or so. I wasn't very good. I was in a new ford and it had a very funny position on the road.

Not enough motivation
This afternoon I went to the cinema to see "Closer." And it was excellent. This was my second excellent film of the week, the first being "A Very Long Engagement." I highly recomend both these films.

Having to start the process of essay planning and reading for essay's it is never an enjoyable job, made worse by my lack of background knowlegde for the two subjects that means there will be more reading and less winging.

Tonight I have been mostly listening to Hair and Muse, in an effort to improve my mood, which is a bit strange (maybe it is a post MacDonalds low...). I am off in a little while to watch "Desprite House Wives" which is an amusing program.

For those who haven't seen me recently, this is what I am looking like at the moment.

Student life
What more can a girl ask for in life than... only 5 hours sleep. Was in the Union til 2, in bed by 2:30 and up at 7:30 so I could have a shower and breakfast before a 9am lecture (which is at the other end of the campus from my flat so it takes me 20 mins to walk there). Thats it for the day now though, so I just have to do more reading, some eating and even some sleeping when this cup of coffee has worn off.

First day back. I had three hours of lectures and already I am tired. For those interested, this semester I am study Environmental Assesment and sustainability apprasal along with landscape design and management (how exciting I hear you all cry!)

This weekend was a good one. Didn't get into bed until amost 4 on sunday morning having been out drinking and then dancing and then sitting up chatting. Oh the life of a student.

I am back in Sunny Dunny (sunniest city in Scotland!). By the end of June I will be ready to join society and start paying taxes (if people want to enmply me).

Hair, a fantastic musical. I have heard several songs from it on TV adverts over the last few days. I am well impressed.

Not much happening here, just trying to work out how exactly I'll be getting back up north and packing etc.

Last night, I watched Jerry Springer the Opera and it was excellent. What I don't understand is all the fuss that has surrounded the beeb showing it. Why protest now, why not protest when it first arrived in the west end? Or has the christian (and muslim) communities taken up the band wagon started by the sikh community in brum before christmas in a fight against free speech.

This has been a terrible week. What you may ask has been so bad about it? Well, my friends, I have had to throw away two pairs of winnie the pooh socks as they have holes in them which are beyond repair :(

HM was in fine form last night (don't worry wend I paid for nowt). His new house is very nice altough "argosesque" in some places. Door to door, HM is now lives less than 20mins from me, it gives me the potentail to become very annoying te he he.

Read some more of one of my course books, although Environmental policy is so boring I do keep falling asleep ;)

Must find someone to go the pub with in my last week, not been the 'spoons since I have been back which is not like me considering I used to live in that place. I also have a week to get my room back into some sort of tidy state before I leave, you can see very little of the carpet at the moment.

I had to go to the dentists this morning as my ability to eat mars bars has been greatly impared for a while now (I could only get a post christmas appointment). Thankly it has all turned out well and I don't have a new hole, just the old one that had lost some of its filling. Hopefully I will be back on mars bar eating duty soon, got to do something to keep this figure ;)

Lunch time was spent in the cinema watching Ella the Enchanted which was a good destraction from real life. Ann Hatheway is really becoming character cast (ie all her rolls are similar).

Off out tonight for dinner with HM (that will get some of you guessing) to see his new house (and him...)

I have just returned from a lovely new years weekend in St Albans. I did some shopping (I have brought a lovely purple interview suit), ate, drank some cocktails, and some more cocktails,went to a pub, met some people, went to a new years parade. I am now home with two weeks of freedom (although I have a list of things to do).
