Back in Liverpool now. Camp (nine acres memoriable site, Fife)  in Scotland was wet for two days (very) and then hot for two days (but not enough to deter the midgies). We rebuilt a river bank, did some painting and cleaned out an outdoor swimming pool. We had a successful campfire on Saturday night (judged by the fact that Robert was singing one of the songs two days later).

Earned lots of money in Aberdeen, painted lots of fence, emtpied and cleaned out a whole set of kitchen cupboards and steam cleaned a living room. I also had a go sea kayaking (not my thing), went swimming in a heated sea water pool (which was much saltier than the real sea), brought some tartan material to make a mini skirt with (not my tartan coz that was GBP49 a metre) and learnt alot about how the "better half" of my family worked...

This was sent through the web site:
Who are ya? = rach (Is that Dr Rach or another random?)
What you thinkin? = im bored

Well so am I, painting fences might be making me some money but it ain’t half tedious… I will write a full and frank account of my work in Aberdeen when I return to L’pool and have broadband access.

I have just been on okcupid and got an analyisis of my personality after being asked loads of questions. Below is the result (some of which is true but I'll leave you to guess which bits)

The Window Shopper
Random Gentle Love Dreamer (RGLDf)

Loving, hopeful, open. Likely to carry on an romance from afar. You are The Window Shopper.

You take love as opportunities come, which can lead to a high-anxiety, but high-flying romantic life. You're a genuinely sweet person, not saccharine at all, so it's likely that the relationships you have had and will have will be happy ones. You've had a fair amount of love experience for your age, and there'll be much more to come.

Part of why we know this is that, of all female types, you are the most prone to sudden, ferocious crushes. Your results indicate that you're especially capable of obsessing over a guy you just met. Obviously, passion like this makes for an intense existence. It can also make for soul-destroying letdowns.

Your ideal match is someone who'll love you back with equal fire, and someone you've grown to love slowly. A self-involved or pessimistic man is especially bad. Though you're drawn to them, avoid artists at all costs.

How do you stop yourself falling asleep when reading very boring books for research into your dissertation? I have several texts books to read about town planning (urban villages) and environmental justice and I am not getting anywhere fast...

Malc is off to the lakes this week and has been running around trying to sort his friends out ;-) But this means I am not going to see him until I go to Hungary at the end of August (he is also off to Ireland and from Hungary he is going to France for a year). All very exciting me thinks.

In an attempt to do some exersice today (no chance of a bike ride coy of the rain) I did 200 step ups (and downs) with 2 tins of baked beans on our bottom step. What an exciting life I lead?!

I also realised that I can't marry Rob because when I was about 8 my friends little brother proposed to me and so I am obliged to marry him. I could always look into bigamy.

This past week has seen me travel up to Scotland (Stirling) for me big brothers graduation and thus eating too much as we all celebrated.

Driving lessons are going okay, I have the hang of the 3 point turn and pareell park. Just got to get the reverse park and reverse round the corner.

On Sunday I went to watch Lancs vs Glos. We lost sadly but it didn't help that 3 of our bowlers was playing for England. The weather was really good.

Sunday night I went and stayed with Katie et al and had a good time as usual. We went on a cycle ride (well Katie and I cycled and Nathan sat back and relaxed). After school finished we went swimming.

Today I have had a driving lesson, posted a parcel to France, done some reading, some sticking, brought some fruit and some internet based research.

Now I am cooking Haggis and stuff for tea.
