The Life and Times of Me

Last weekend, I got on a virgin voyagur from Cheltentham (getting to the station is a whole other story) and went to Edinburgh to spend the weekend with my favourite older brother and this girlfriend plus others. I met up with two of my university chums, which was fun. I ended up being harrassed by oldmen in Leith. Also met up with Andras, Eszti and Noel in Glasgow and had lovely food with lovely company. I do hate those stupid trains, they are always fun and I always end up going backwards and then gettting travel sick.

I returned from Edinburgh with Eric's bass guitar which is now on loan to Callum (who has expressed an interest in learning to play it).

In guides I have started working towards my camp licence. I have a book to read, forms to fill in and a scheme to follow. I have started to read the book but its a tad boring, loads of stuff about accounts etc. I am starting to be a bit concerned though, I am trying to get a camp organised for this summer so I can get my practice in and then do the proper camp next summer. I have tents that I can get access to but other camping equipment, like mess tents, dinning shelters, cooks, pots pans etc its going to be hard work.

I have finished off my first portrait. I havent really done figure painting previously (except life drawing which didnt really count as I never really painted what was there) and so I think it is a good attempt. I will get a piture up on here or on flickr when I can get hold of the digtal camera.
