I heard back from Waitrose, they don't have any suitable possitions for me either, but they will keep me on file for 6 months and match me if anything comes up.
I went to the SAGGA AGM, dull as usual and I didn't really get what had been achieved by it all but I am now a member of the SAGGA comitee.
