Life has started to speed up
What a last couple of weeks it has been.
Last week saw my last university exam (hopefully ever) and as a result I spent about 12 hours in the student union afterwards. Surprisingly I didnt have a hangover the next day.
On Wednesday I played some cricket University of Dundee students 2XI vs the staff in a 20:20 match. We lost but the game and I was told I played a "Boycottesk innings" (something like 15 overs with only 2 runs...) and the comment was made "this isn't F**king test cricket Amy." At the weekend I played more cricket, saturday was against Crieff (which we lost... I got a duck, they had this bloke from NZ playing for them by the name of Tim Oram and we wondered if he was related to Jacob) that was another 80 overs of cricket. Sunday we traveled away to Largo for another game which we also lost (no duck this time but 0 not out). So in 5 days I played 200 overs of cricket, no wonder I was stiff on monday morning.
Tuesday saw my 3rd driving test within a year and thank goodness it was third time lucky. So beware... Amy is on the roads.
More drinking took place this week to, Tuesday night Charlene and I celebrated and Wednesday night, after the final cricket commitee meeting of the year, I was drinking with the boys. If anyone would like to read the end of year captains report let me know, its only 5 pages long :) I have again reached the conclusion that I shouldn't drink with the boys, 7 pints later I was at home in my bed, not feeling great (although I think the spicy bean burger I had for my tea was the main cause of that). The main problem seemed to be the whenever some one went to the bar they came back with a drink for me (because obviously they all know what I drink these days).
Thursday I had a pleasent surprise. I have been applying for jobs, just on the off chance that someone might want me... Well one I applied for in Ipswich for Suffolk County Council came up and I have been asked to an interview for the posisiton of Strategic Environmental Assessment officer... I have to prepare a ten minute presentation. Oh pooh is all I can say.
Wednesday afternoon I had a Daniel Bruehl fest (of good bye lennin fame) as I went to watch The Edukators (Die Fetten Jahre sind vorbei) which was excellent. Thursday afternoon I had an Orlando Bloom fest and went to see the great Kingdom of Heaven, although I doubt it is historially accurate it was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Over the next week or so I have lined up Stars Wars Episode III (despite not seeing I and II i still want to see III, I know I am odd), Dear Frankie, The Assassination of Richard Nixon, Keys to the House (Le chiavi di casa), Sin City and possibly Five times two (cinq fois deux).
Off to buy some shoes (for my wee brother) today.

It sounds like it's all going well. Good luck with your interview!
You think it is your last university exam, but you could enjoy it so much that you need to go back for more like me, or maybe not!
And I shall repeat what Mad said good luck with the interview.
Andy
Good luck

Good luck and don't forget where your towel is...
Thanks all. I will remember where my towel is and I won't panic!
Ah, the life after exams. Congratulations on finishing them and well done for passing your driving test too.
