Tomorrow is my last day in work, yey!

I was taken out to lunch today to an all you can eat chinese. Much was eaten and drank. And a very good time was had by all.

I have been touched by the number of people who have come up to me in the last few days to say how sorry they are to see me go...

I have been told that there will be a presentation of some sort at mid day. I have to assume I will be getting some sort of present as Alastair was asking about my amazon wish list, since then I was told that he had been charged with getting me a little something. I have also been told to act surprised!

I have had two exit interviews, one offical one with HR and one "unoffical" with the section manager. I was totally frank in both of them but the two people reacted in different manners. More on that when I properly left, that will be after Sweden then!

Finger/joint a damaged/broke a month or so ago is still troubling me. Hopefully a little time away from the key board and cricket balls will do the trick.

Not worked out my journey to the ferry on monday, which has been made more complicated by the fact the ferry is half an hour earlier than I thought (well an hour and a half than I actually thought). I think we will have a housefull on Sunday night, Tim and boys plus Heather and I think that Eric and Gillian may have appeared.

Last night it was my last guide meeting with the 13th Ipswich Guides. We had a party. I did some guide related things, we had dancing and musical chairs and lots of not so healthy food. I was well impressed, I got an oggie at the end too.

I did the guides a quiz, 3 sections, one on guiding (all things we had to do for our world badge), one on famous women and one on the colour yellow. I will reproduce the quiz here at some point (probably after Sweden) no one did very well though!

I got presents which surprised me... A lot of the guides came up to me during the meeting and at the end to tell me they would really miss me. Most of them didn't know I was leaving, it had been kept quiet.

We did a finding out about each other game at the start of the night and one of the things to ask was "guiding history," a few of the girls came up to ask me and I told them I was a 132nd Liverpool Guide, the funny thing was they wrote 132nd down as "130 second", surely 11 year old know how to write this?

Last night I was very close to punching on of the men who works in my office. I was taking part in the countryside vs archaeology cricket match. I was made to bat at number 5 (I usually go to number 11 because then I don't have to bat) then it was feilding, our side made about 150 in 20 overs so it was a big challenge for the archaeologist. Anyhow they lost. I didn'y bowl. I went at the end of the match to ask why I wasn't bowled and after a discussion with the captain he said "Amy I saw you bowl last year so I assumed you were a batter." He didn't know how close he was to death when he said that!
