So, two weeks have been and gone at work. I am now in the Friday warm down.
Ipswich is small and quiet but I am glad to say they have a women’s cricket team, which I have sort of joined and an arts Cinema but they don’t have as interesting collection as the DCA in Dundee.
Work is ok, but a bit slow, as you can imagine, I have lots of catching up to do and therefore lots of reading. I have however produced some documents although they are safely stored away as they aren’t ready for others to see.
I am permanently tired at the moment, who would have thought sitting behind a desk is such hard work.
I am living with a very nice guide DC and as you might image I have been roped into guides, but what better way is there of getting involved in your local community and making new friends.
I have found a more permanent place to live and I hopefully will be moving in there in a week or so. Nice thing about it is that because it is someone’s house, I don’t need to worry about bring cooking equipment etc with me as I did in Dundee. I just have to borrow the parents car so that I can bring some of my junk over (my sewing machine is coming amongst other things so I can get creative).
It is very odd not being in Dundee. Suffolk has very few Northern Irish or Scottish Accents for a start (I never thought I would miss either of these). The other thing is that everyone seems to have a sort of quasi London accent. No stereotypical Suffolk accents to be heard anywhere!
I am off to play cricket tonight, Environment and Transport vs. Archaeology. 15 overs with 8 balls in the overs… why not just 20 overs with 6 balls in an over, makes scoring much simpler.
I had my first pay slip thingy today, so exciting, but I have to wait for next week to be paid!
Last weekend I went to St Albans for a PARTY! There was over 100 people there, it was a bit over whelming for my poor head! But it was a good w/e and a good party.
Those of you off to Eurojam, good luck! I will go and buy the CD tomorrow (I’m assuming it is out already). Also if people want to escape at any point let me know, I may have a permanent address and so people can come and shower etc.

So I haven't blogged for a while...
I have left Dundee after 3 mainly happy years and I am a wee bit sad about it.
Last Saturday was the Grad ball and it was a good laugh (although I have decided that people on speed aren't much fun to be around). I will put some pictures up when I have had them developed.
I drove part of the way back down to Liverpool last Monday and since then I have been unpacking and sorting out my bedroom, (one bin bag of books and two of cloths have made their way to the charity shop). I have also been signing lots of bits of paper for work and trying to find somewhere to live. Thanks to a SAGGA contact in Suffolk I have a bed in a Guide DC's house...
Yesterday (Friday) I was down in London with the rest of the family (minus Malc who was being cut open) for my cousins wedding and it was really good fun and good to catch up with people for a happy reason.
This week I shall continue my sorting, I have the feeling I no longer need my school exersice books or my A-Level folders... I also need to get some more work style clothing, I have so far, one purple suit, 3 blousers, one pair of black trousers and my old man trousers (however I think these wouldn't be considered smart in most company).
Mr Miller is also coming round for tea this week so I shall have to think of something nice to cook.
