Happy Belated Easter
Unfortunately, Dundee (both the University of and City of) don't do Easter Monday and so I was in uni today for 3 hours of lectures... Apparently, there is a "city holiday" next monday (what ever one of them is).

This weekend I mostly spent time talking to wee children (of the Haseler variety). Those of you who read this and know me well may recall how Eleanor used to behave around me; she would cry, and run away, now however she gets upset when I leave. On Sunday morning, Eleanor and Robert came in to check that I hadn't left during the night :) Pottering about as I did this weekend is often one of the best ways to spend time. On Sunday we planned to go for a walk however the weather got the better of us and we ended up in the Burrell collection (which has some exciting stuff in it although the presentation lacked somewhat). I also painted an egg and rolled it down a hill.

Was horse riding tonight. I was on a highland pony called Drummer who could really go, a fantastic trot (I have yet to master the canter but it is getting there). I got out of sitting trot without stirups because of my dodgy hips (yey!).

I don't know who wrote it but it is better than the usual c**p

Foggy mind and food
Are you jumping on the food in schools band wagon? Why not sign Jamies petition at Feed Me Better?

The Fog on the Tay is back. My hopes of spring have been dashed!

I had better get back to me studying (although it is very dull)... Maybe I'll make my revision time table now?!

After three days of the fog on the tay being mine all mine, the sun is out, the sky is blue and there are white fluffy clouds :)

Easter is this weekend and I have been and brought some easter eggs for little and big people alike.

Oh dear what can the matter be, Amy's stuck in the lavertery, she's been in there since Saturday...

I have hired my gown and hood for my gradutation (24th June at 10am). The hood is Yellow and Black, just like a bumble bee! I have to pay to graduate, its a bit crap.

I am getting to the point in term when i know that I need to study for my exams but I am so tired I can't be bothered doing that, sleep is much more appealing.

I better go an read some stuff about E.I.A and S.E.A.

On thursday I put my purple suit on and went along to get my Merit. Post awards, there was free wine and nibbles... I got home at about 2:30ish and I was very drunk, those lads at cricket are such bad influences.

Friday was a further chance to get tarted up and I put on my dress and went off for the blues and colours ball (I will post a picture when it is developed). Pam came along too.

It is now Sunday morning and I am knackered.

Apparently SNP are in Dundee, or so they say on the TV. Unlike the scottish labour party conferance, there is no police, no sealed up post boxes etc. Tony Blair really is a wimp....

10.3.05

Did I say that the Music society ball was crap? The so called Ceilidh band only knew 3 Ceilidh songs.... You can imagine what is was like. Pop music with the Gay Gordans, Stripping the Willow and Dashing White Sergent in between.

Week has been a bit hectic. Two essays due in on the same day, not very good. 24 hour cricket stuff, the date has been changed by the institute of sport (the company that runs the universities sports facilities) twice in a week. We are not very impressed as you can imagine.

I have new glasses. One pair is Ted Baker (I got them at a bargin price) and the other is nothing. I think I am starting to look old, or at least like a proper adult. I don't think I have ever looked yound. Never really been asked for ID in a pub or nowt like that (maybe something to do with my frontal flotation devices!?)

The people united shall never be defeated...
I went to see the Corporation in the cinema today. Very intense and every good.

Amy's come in from the cold
El President Blair is coming to Dundee for the Scottish Labour Party conference. Because of this, all the litter bins and post boxes have been sealed off so they are bomb proof. Also, the city centre has been sealed off with the buses and cars being rerooted. I have never seen so many police in one place! I might go and try and swear at Blair again... But then again it might be too much effort.

Tonight is the music society ball. It is at the Woodlands hotel in the Ferry, which is posh. There wil be eating, drinking and dancing of the scottish sort. I am looking forward to the stripping the willow.

The rest of the East side of the UK seems to be in the grips of a Narnia style winter, but Dundee isn't. It is cold but there is no snow (not that I have anyone to snow ball with or make snow men).

Wednesday night I went out for a few drinks to do cricket stuff. I ended up leaving the union at about 1. I had only had a few drinks but I had a 9am to get up for. I also had to take on of our first years back to his halls after he had drank 6 pints and half a bottle of whiskey!!!

Sorry for there not being any rants on here for a while but I have found another channel for them. Maybe will have a rant soon.

Be Prepared to Surprise Yourself
Do you think that SA and GA knew how well their slogans worked together? (Thanks to Helmet for that). The SSAGO rally was frigging freezing! My team managed to win the highland games.

Back to the drudgery of Uni work and 24 hour cricket match... Can't be arsed really.

More snow in Dundee, I was driving in it, much fun.

I am having to write a cricket quiz. Any suggestions for questions (and answers)?
