My stars for today: Old romantic ties may be on your mind, and could prompt you to get in touch with a lost love. Resolving any loose ends can give you peace of mind. If you're not able to resolve matters with a person from your past, write this person a goodbye letter anyway. Document any anger, sadness, or frustration that has lingered as a result of your relationship. Then, you can burn the letter and release your regrets. Somehow I think that Jo the Janator would go mad if I started burning stuff in me flat....

Why in PSE lessons in school don't they teach you about unrequited love.... this has to be just as difficult to deal with as the should I, shouldnt I question.

Also why when I fancy someone do I start being an even bigger b*****d to them then i would normally be? I am slightly perverse I thinks.

I am also a sado, as i have joined the sean biggerstaff discousion group.

for those of you who have some spare time and like Mr Firth why not visit here.

Well I am not all that brilliant. Flat thing shave turned into a feasco, now Polly is saying that she doesnt think that she wants to live with us (this is a problem as four of us applied to uni accomodation together and therefore if we get any it will be together). Its sooooo difficult accomodating everyone. The tormenting from the cricket team about how I say Purple and circle is increasing, although Russel did some silly stuff so he was getting tormented too. Another point, its lonely being a student, I know I have lots of friends but sometimes they arent really the people you want to be around and so things get lonely. I brought a top on saturday, Jen would be proud of me, its a cross over one made from dark navy sinny material and has Japanese flower patterns on it.

I went to see 'how to loose a man in 10 days' yesterday it was very funny, for that sort of film I was impressed. For those of you into art house films this week I also went to see 'la Haine' which is about 3 teenagers in the suburbs of paris, FANTASTIC it was.

Revistited two flats last night, sooo not impressed. I am visiting one today which I hope will be better. I will publish the results of the investigation later on so people can say what they think.

Happy Easter All. Did you all enjoy your bank holiday? I did, 9 til 5 in uni'.

I spent a very good saturday night and easter sunday with the Haseler Faimly. We played sonic the hedghog on the saga mega drive, which I am still pooh at, obviously I didnt have enough practice as a child on these things. We also did egg decorating and rolling down a hill. I was fantastic to escape Dundee even if it was for such a short time. Tonight we are going to view two flats and tomorrow we have another veiwing (a flat just 2 mins walk from uni, although a little more money, I think that its well worth paying for extra lie in time!:)).

I was thinking of going back to liverpool between my last lectures and exams for a long w/e but my parents will have buggered off abroad for both of these so I see little point.

19.4.03

Its easter weekend but scotland doent have bank holidays on good friday or easter monday, so I still have to be in uni. I am off to do easter stuff we friends are their three children which will be fun. I brought my flat mates easter eggs (how nice am I?). I would like to congratulate this person on their shopping abities as they seem to be far supiour to mine, I cant even manage to get a pair or jeans.......why don't they make a size 15 is what I ask? and why do shop assistance sat "it's just the style" when the shop in question clearly only sells one style of jeans?

How exciting is this.... I am doing a postal vote of the next Liverpool election.

Cricket training last night, was only about 7 of us there, we all got to bat and bowl. I impressed the 'lads' with my jokes I now need some more if anyone can suggest any. I am stiff this morning though.

Today was house searching day. The first problem we encountered was that most places dont cater for more than 3 people. The next problem was finding the places. Flat one, 4 bed rooms, although the whole flat looked little bigger than my bedroom in liverpool (also we had been warned about the landlord which put us off). Second flat was better and in a "central location." The third flat wasnt FANTASTIC but better than the other two, it was huge, in a victorian appartment block, it reminded me of the large flats in central Budapest and it was less than 5 minutes walk from the Dundee Whetherspoons, what more can a girl ask for. We have another 3 or floor to look at one which is in the "royal appartments" on Union Street. I am now knakered.

Spent this evening writing more of my human geog essay (only another 400 words to go) and doing some chemistry.

I should no go and sleep I think.

How do these people come up with such poo. I don't and can never remeber having any power. Oh well here is my horoscope: You've been reluctant to claim your power, simply because it's easier to be an amateur than a professional. However, if you're ever going to find work that is stimulating and enjoyable, you must proclaim your expertise. Getting an official certificate or applying for high calibre jobs is essential. If you're uncertain of how to promote your wares, ask a friend for help in creating a resume and sample book.

Last night I entertained one of the university bars with my vocal talents. It was Kareoki night. I sang 5 songs, Alanise Morrisette's Hands Clean, Beatles Ob-la-de od-la-da and Michelle, Beautiful South's Don't Marry Her and finally that great song Big spender. I was quite impressed that I wasnt the worst person there either. One of the cricket team did a version of "bart man" which was interesting. I have yet again not been picked for the forth coming cricket fixture.........they really dont know what they are missing ;)

Another which ER character are you. I am Mark Greene "You're Dr. Mark Greene! No no, it doesn't mean you're dead! You're just the nicest person ANYONE has ever met! You put others before you and sometimes you don't feel appreciated. Make sure people don't take advantage of you!"

14.4.03

First day back at uni was the usual slowness. Made worse by discovering that my last exam isnt until 9th June, no need. Me flat mates are already pissing me off........why am I such an old lady. Maybe I am just Nora Batty in discise. Will have time to look for some more exciting links for you all. 67 days till the order of phenix. This is were I have been volenteered to go to, soo much fun.

12.4.03

I just remember what is was a wanted to tell u all. Last night in the pub I noticed an old man looking at all the girls bums. I pointed this out to me mate Graham. We had some ammusment out of it and got onto whether girls enjoyed men perving at their arses and I said that I wouldnt know coz no man looks at my arse to which Graham replied thats because once they get to me boobs they dont need to go any further. I took this as a very nice compliment.

I have escape Aviemore, (yocals are very hostile). I have a day to prepare for the start of another term, very exciting. I am now more than ever a "classy chick", two things lead me to suspect this (i) I have a dodgy tan line were my hat didnt protect my face (ii) I was in the pub showing everyone me knickers (which were about 2 intches above me trousers waist band). I am also an old women, I told people off last night for making too much noise (it was about 3 o'clock in the morning). I had something very exciting to say, but i now cant't remember what it was. I seem to have been volenteered to go to the ssago ralley, not really sure how that happened.

I have my exam time table which is useful. I just have to be very good and construct a revision time table.

My lap top seems to be angry with me and is refusing to work.......this could be a problem as I have some essays and reports to write in the next 3 weeks.

8.4.03

Aviemore: Cold this morning although now very sunny. Work is boring, asking hotel people about tourism is shite. I fell home sick, although more friend sick. Seeing everyone at the week end was fanastic, I am now on a big down. Also am extreamly tired and require more sleep than is avalible.

7.4.03

SAGGA AGM: as usual the AGM bit was boring, although I put a bit of live into the votes (for some reason everyone thought it was very funny) by abstaining at every oppertunity. I had to explain to James child why Sarah told him we had snogged (it was all blamed on heather). Friday night entertainment was proved my mad and wendy's sofas, I shall say no more......Saturday afternoon a city farm and pub were visited. Saturday night we all ended up sitting around chatting and I was called by Sarah pot, kettle and black, for some reason. I just diniyed everything. Hugh came which was good, it is just sinking in how far away he really is and stuff. I am now very tired due to late nights and heading off for a week in Aviemore with my geography class, oh such fun and games..............A will right a full report once I return.

2.4.03

I would like to clarify, I am not planting brinks in the hope that by some sort of mirical they will grow, I am planting the, to create a sunken border around one of me mothers flowerbeds.

I can here you asking "Amy have you done anything exciting while on your easter break" and I can answer catagorically NO. I have managed though to waste time in ways that only students are able to do, which include reading books, watching TV and spending endless hours on the internet.

Today I planted more bricks and did some more studying, what a great student.

1.4.03

Sunday: Food yum. A wonderful roast diner and Toby came, all soo much fun
Monday: Moved some bricks. Went to see Chicago, was impressed by CZJ voice, was worried about RZ knees which are very knobbaly. (quick review: good and enjoyable, not joseph but certainly an equall with evita. Just as must plagerism as ALW applies to his musicals, he he :))
Tuesday: Planted bricks, watched sister act I and II. Did a small ammount of studying.
